26th to 30th September 2023 - World Environment Health Week

"Let us nurture nature to secure a nurturing future."

World Environment Health Day falls on October 26th every year. QCS didn't limit its focus to just one day; instead, it embraced the importance of the environment, its health, and its impact by conducting various activities throughout the week. The pre-primary wing celebrated this day with a cleanliness drive and learned about the use of green and blue bins. The Little Queens were taught about the concept of the environment's health through rhymes and slogans. The germination of seeds was part of an experiential learning experience that encouraged people to preserve and grow more trees. It was an enriching experience as each queen nurtured a plant. Creating the best from waste materials by making cloth bags, crafting creative art pieces from newspapers, and planting medicinal plants contributed to a series of efforts aimed at raising awareness for a cleaner, greener, and healthier environment.

Our Green Pledge

At QCS, we understand, appreciate and value our green gold. It is important that this precious gift is nurtured, preserved and reserved for the future generation(s). To ensure that our students become global green citizens, awareness programmes, participation in van-mahotsav celebrations and practice and preach the golden rule – Reduce, Reuse and Recycle are part of the co-scholastic learning curriculum.
