The House System

For inculcating the spirit of healthy competition, sportsmanship and camaraderie, the students from Class I onwards are divided into four houses. The houses have been given names based on the qualities the school wants to develop in each student. The four such houses are:

  • Courage
  • Integrity
  • Peace
  • Truth

Each house has its own distinctive colour and flag. All the house activities are conducted under various clubs such as:

  • Persona - Personality Development Club
  • Beats & Rhythms - Dance & Music Club
  • Quest - Quizzing Club
  • Lingua - The Language club
  • Good Housekeeping - Home Science Club
  • Scientifica - The Science Club
  • Exotica - The Art & Craft Club
  • Laughter Club
  • Heritage Club - Trains the future citizens of the country to respect and preserve the cultural heritage and be proud Indians.
  • Eco Club: The R4 eco club helps students learn, to "Nurture Nature"

Art Education

Art education constitutes an important area of curricular activity for the development of the wholesome personality of the learners. The following activities are taken up in the school for the students.

Yoga Club

At Queen's Carmel School we give a lot of stress to imparting Yoga education Children are demonstrated and made to perform exercises and postures that benefit different parts of the body. Asanas are graded according to the age and experience of the students.
